This month we're showcasing a long-standing regular in the 240SX community: "Norm C." of Cerritos, CA and his clean, understated S13. (and we mean understated in the best possible definition of the word :)
Norm purchased some Z32 Hawk HPS Brake Pads from us and we couldn't resist snapping a few pics of his chariot.

2011 S-Chassis Meet Pictorial RECAP! (Part 1)
The 3rd Annual S-Chassis Meet at the K1 Speed in Anaheim proved to be another successful event in the growing history of the show. Even amidst the shadow of JCCS going on in Long Beach, and the thunder and rain that SoCal woke up to that morning, the event still drew a high quality turnout of both S-Chassis and non S-Chassis vehicles!

Customer Spotlight: Canadian Z32 300ZX with Jun Flywheel
A special thanks to customer "Colton N." of Canada, who sent us these shots of his super-clean, silver, Z32 300ZX Twin-Turbo. Colton recently purchased a high-quality Jun Flywheel for his Z from us and, even with the typical slowboat-from-Japan delay, he was able to

New Low Price: Tomei shift knob and oil filler cap now reduced!
It's no secret that Tomei makes some fantastic products for your engine. Their accessories are no different. Two of the most popular being the Tomei Duracon Shift Knob and the Tomei Forged Piston Oil Filler Cap. Fans have always loved these items and have paid a premium for their high-quality.
Recently however, Tomei has just announced that due to improvements in manufacturing efficiency they are are now able to release these fan favorites for a drastically reduced price! This is great news for Tomei fans! But this news does not come without a few very, very, minor caveats however...

Lowered your 350Z/G35 or 370Z? Screwed up your alignment? Adjustable suspension links can help!
Proper suspension setup can be a tricky proposition. You know you shouldn't over-lower your vehicle and gobble up valuable suspension travel and adversely affect your handling. But once you've settled on a ride height that gives you the optimum balance between a lowered center of gravity and suspension stroke, you may be faced with alignment settings that are no longer ideal.
Unless you enjoy the whole "demon camber" nonsense (like in the pic above) you know that proper suspension settings go hand-in-hand with

A photo of Nagisa Auto Fender Braces installed on a 300ZX
Not long ago, we showcased the Z32 Nagisa Auto Fender Braces (also known as the 300ZX NAMS Gacchiri Support). We've had more than a few inquiries about these fender braces in the days since. One customer - who ordered a set from us - was even kind enough to

Headers: One of our favorite modifications for the 350Z and G35!
With each passing year, the 350Z and G35 are becoming more and more prevalent in the used car market. We often receive phone calls or emails from people who are excited about the "new" Z33 or V35 they just picked up and after doing all the basics (tires, brakes, suspension, intake, exhaust, etc.) they want to know what they should do next.
Well, it depends. Are you planning to add a turbo, or stay Naturally Aspirated? Customers are often embarassed to admit that they

Make your 300ZX-to-240SX brake conversion easier and your Z32 chassis stiffer!
We get asked almost weekly about the 300ZX brake conversion on the 240SX - "What parts do I need?", "What rotors should I use?", "Do I need the parking brake off the Z?", "What if I don't have the hardlines?"
Sometimes it's easy to forget that even though this conversion has been around for a long time, there are still new S-Chassis owners joining the fold every year. And this is ALL new to them.
With Nissan no longer producing the hardlines that go between the caliper and the rubber brakeline, we've found that more and more of our customers are unable to use something like our Goodridge G-Stop Z32 Conversion Lines as these require you to have not only the Z32 calipers, but the hardlines as well. Most junkyard pulled calipers will have this hardline crimp-cut right off the back of the caliper, while many remanufactured units won't have these lines at all!
Hopefully the DIF Z32 Conversion Lines we've started carrying will make life easier for those discovering this brake conversion for the first time. These lines are ready to go right out of the bag, just add calipers!
Featuring an extended length to compensate for the absence of any caliper-side hardlines, these stainless steel lines also feature the proper

NISMOlism 2011 Recap!
The weather had been sketchy all week leading up to the show, yet on the day of the show blue skies prevailed (with occasional cloud cover at times). Perfect meet weather!
As with any first time meet of this size, there were minor things that could have been done better. Our only two trivial "complaints" were that 1) we would have loved to have each specific model parked together in designated sections, which would have made for GREAT photo opportunities, and 2) condiments for the food. But that's how small our issues with the meet were; Parking and Ketchup. :)
Needless to say, we felt the meet was a success! Lotta cool people all too happy to talk about their cars. We enjoyed meeting a diverse group of people that were nice enough to grace our booth; like the (we'll keep them anonymous) 350Z owner who just landed a job as a CHP dispatcher and now wants to get his Z build going, or the guy who owns a 240SX but brought out his Cressida just to piss off his friends (haha), or the Student from Mexico studying English here and wishing his S13 coulda been at the meet.
A meet is only as good as the people.....and, well, the cars. So with that said enjoy our not-NEARLY-adequate-enough photo recap of the meet!
(A big "Thank You" to the organizers and volunteers for making this day happen. Can't wait for next years show!)
