2011 S-Chassis Meet Pictorial RECAP! (Part 1)

The 3rd Annual S-Chassis Meet at the K1 Speed in Anaheim proved to be another successful event in the growing history of the show. Even amidst the shadow of JCCS going on in Long Beach, and the thunder and rain that SoCal woke up to that morning, the event still drew a high quality turnout of both S-Chassis and non S-Chassis vehicles!

S12 presence took a noticeable hit as they couldn't be at both the Japanese Classic Car Show and the S-Chassis Meet at the same time, but the S13 and S14 crowd didn't disappoint (plus they've got a few more years before they qualify for JCCS anyway :). Plus, the delayed start time due to JCCS turned out to be a blessing in disguise -- if the Meet had started at the original start time, everyone would have been standing in pouring rain and thunder!

Highlights of this years event included a larger turnout, a food truck (which we verifed as having KILLER spicy tuna!), and a new "Vendor's Choice" award category which allowed each vendor to choose their "pick" of the show. We were stoked about being able to award a plaque to a car we felt stood out from the rest, though the choice wasn't easy!

This year we upped the number of pics we took so instead of blabbing on about the event we'll let the pictures do the talking! Part 1 will have all the S-Chassis pics, while Part 2 will have all of the miscellaneous pics and spectator cars. Can't wait 'til next year!
