"Cruise Paradise" 4th of July Car Show 2012


No matter what part of the U.S. you may have found yourself in on July 4th, no doubt there was some sort of automotive related event you could attend. The Big Island of Hawaii (Hilo Bayfront to be exact) was no exception, as this year saw the return of the tri-annual, 2-week "Cruise Paradise" event hosted by Hawaii Classic Cruisers, which culminated in a 4th of July Car Show. An estimated 320+ vehicles and thousands of spectators turned out for the car show portion.

Cars from the 1920's all the way up to showroom fresh rides were included, with the majority of cars representing the iconic nameplates of the 1950's-70's. There has also been a big push to include all makes and models (imports as well) but it was still a decidely "Classic-Heavy" event. But with such a diverse display of vehicles from as far away as

All Make/Model Car Show for a good cause!


Well, with the transition back to the Hawaiian Islands, we've sort of slipped in our event coverage as of late. But with quite a few events happening recently, and more on the way, we figured now was as good a time as any to get caught up!
